Terms & Conditions

As of: 2026

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in workshops as well as other services provided by atelier tonarella.

By booking a workshop, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Organiser

atelier tonarella

3. Workshops and Registration

Registration takes place via the website, by email, or through other booking options offered by atelier tonarella.

A booking becomes binding once it has been confirmed by atelier tonarella and – where applicable – payment has been received.

Participant numbers are limited. Places are allocated in the order in which bookings are received.

4. Prices and Payment

The prices published on the website at the time of booking apply.

Unless otherwise stated, the workshop fee is to be paid in full before the workshop begins.

All prices are quoted in euros.

5. Cancellation by Customers

Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the start of the workshop.

In the event of a later cancellation, no refund of the participation fee is possible. However, the booking may be transferred once to another available workshop date or to a substitute participant. Rebooking is subject to available places and must be arranged with atelier tonarella before the workshop begins.

6. Cancellation or Rescheduling by atelier tonarella

atelier tonarella reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops for important reasons (e.g. illness, force majeure, or insufficient participant numbers).

In such cases, payments already made will be refunded in full or – at the customer's request – transferred to a replacement date.

Further claims, in particular for reimbursement of travel or accommodation costs, are excluded.

7. Participation

Participation is at the participant's own risk.

Please wear clothing that may get dirty.

Instructions from the course leader must be followed for safety reasons.

Children under the age of 16 may only participate when accompanied by an adult or in specially offered children's workshops.

8. Ceramic Pieces

Ceramic pieces created during the workshop will be dried, glazed, and fired after the course.

As ceramics are a natural material, cracks, deformations, or other material-related changes may occur during drying or firing. No claim for replacement or refund arises in such cases.

Finished works can be collected after notification or sent by post – with shipping costs borne by the customer.

Uncollected ceramic pieces will be stored for 2 months from the date of notification. After this period, atelier tonarella reserves the right to dispose of the works.

9. Liability

atelier tonarella is only liable for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

No liability is accepted for items brought to the workshop by participants.

Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to personal injury.

10. Photography and Video

During workshops, photos or short video recordings may be taken for use on the atelier tonarella website or social media channels.

Anyone who does not wish to be photographed or filmed can inform us at any time on site. This request will of course be respected.

11. Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are transferable and may be redeemed within the statutory limitation period, unless otherwise stated on the voucher.

Cash payment is excluded.

12. Privacy

Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of processing bookings and conducting workshops.

Further information can be found in the privacy policy on the website.

13. Applicable Law

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

For consumers, the mandatory legal provisions of their country of residence apply.

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
